Pedro Amaral is Associate Professor at the Department of Economics at Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais, Brazil. He is Chair of the Latin America Division of Regional Studies Association (RSA) and Deputy Secretary of the Brazilian National Association of Graduate Studies and Research in Urban and Regional Planning (ANPUR).

Peter Vinten-Johansen is Associate Professor Emeritus at Michigan State University, lead author of a John Snow biography (2003), content manager of the John Snow Archive and Research Companion, and an historian of mid-nineteenth century English cholera epidemics (Vinten-Johansen, 2003; 2020).

Klaus Ackermann is a visiting Senior Lecturer (Assistant Professor) from the Department of Econometrics and Business Statistics at Monash University (Melbourne, Australia).

Professor Yan Liu is Chair Professor of Geographical Information Science Department of Geography and Resource Management at the Chinese University of Hong Kong. She is a Spatial Data Scientist and a Quantitative Human Geographer, specializing in Geographical Information Science (GIS), urban modelling and geo-simulation, spatial data analytics, and spatially integrated social studies. 

Patrick Gorry is a visiting PhD student from the Maynooth University Hamilton Institute, which applies math to solve real-world problems.
